Taryn is an actress, presenter, singer, dancer and voice over artist with as much enthusiasm as the first day she started in the business. Trained at  Bush Davies School of Theatre Arts and Laine Theatre Arts 

 Her first job was as a dancer in her hometown Clacton on Sea, a summer season  starring Arthur Askey & Dickie Henderson. Weekly rep at Frinton theatre directed by Jack Watling followed by many repertory seasons including Worthing, Birmingham, Peterborough and Great Yarmouth.

TV credits include Mrs. Terrence in CALL THE MIDWIFE, a murder suspect Shelley in A TOUCH OF FROST (Yorkshire TV), Mrs. Dunlop in THAT’S ENGLISH for Spanish TV, the lead in a true life drama documentary titled '50 WAYS TO KILL YOUR LOVER' In the film PARTING SHOTS she played Ruth Leyton (Bob Hoskins' wife) directed by Michael Winner. the Lift Girl in ARE YOU BEING SERVED (BBC) for the final 26 episodes where she performed The Highland Fling with John Inman.

TV Commercials currently include The Coronation Street Experience and the voice over for Joe's Doors.

In the the past Memoria Funeral Plans, Royal Mail redirect, British Seniors, Colgate toothpaste, Verisure Alarms, Laz-y-spa, Revitive with Sir Ian Botham.  

Online ads have included Febreze with Paul O Grady, mum in Maltesers truffles, Juice Bursts, cake maker in Hyundai ad and mum in a Fosters ad. Played the gnome lady Margaret in the promo video for the feature film SHERLOCK GNOMES. 

The Dominatrix in JAMIE T's 'Power Over Men',  Jedward's mum in their music video Bad Behaviour. 

Portrayed an older Stacey Solomon talking head in NEVER MIND THE BUZZCOCKS.

In the 90's she was a professional cheerleader for an American Football Team called The London Monarchs  

performing at Wembley Stadium and Giants Stadium USA. 

Having been a member of Equity since the 70's, she has played principal girl in numerous pantos with wonderful celebrities such as Leslie Crowther, Ted Rodgers, Bernie Clifton, Barry Cryer, Harry Worth and Bernard Bresslaw. 

Taryn played Alice in Alice In Wonderland at The Mermaid Theatre, London, followed by a no.1 tour. Cinderella at The Keneth More Theatre, Ilford. On tour Dorothy in The Wizard Of Oz, the title roles in Sleeping Beauty and 

Snow White at The Westminster Theatre, London (now named The Other Palace Theatre).

The lead in a 6 month no1 tour of the Tart And The Vicars Wife as well as Cynthia in the musical Mr. Cinders at The Blackpool Grand Theatre followed by a 6 month no1 tour.

Performed at The London Palladium 2017 as one of Dougie Squires Generation dancers for 

The Vera Lynn 100 tribute attended by HRH The Queen. Dancer in THE CROWN 2 for Netflix.

Host for the prestigious London Hair and Beauty Awards 2017/ 2023 The English Wedding awards 2020 / 2023. Presenter at various exhibitions, Scottish Widows, Mezura AI and as a radiologist  in Phillips solutions 360.

Taryn has a home recording studio and is a busy voice artist for numerous clients including NHS, Microsoft and Time Warner.

She has been performing her own cabaret act for senior citizens since 2005!!
